WHAT TIME DOES THE EVENT OPEN?

Comic Con Midlands opens at the same time over the course of the weekend, this time is as follows:

Saturday Entry: 9.00am

Saturday Closing: 6.00pm

Sunday Entry: 9.00am

Sunday Closing: 6.00pm

 

DO YOU HAVE CAR PARKING? 

The NEC Birmingham has more than 16,500 well-maintained spaces. Their dedicated team looks after their car parks all year round, including surfacing, safety, lighting, signage and gritting.  There is venue signage to show you the correct car park to head to and shuttle buses to take you to the halls. You can either pay on the day or in advance by clicking HERE.

DO YOU HAVE A CASH MACHINE?

There are various portable cash machines throughout the NEC Birmingham and across at Resorts World.

DO YOU HAVE WI-FI?

Yes the NEC Birmingham has WI-FI throughout.

The NEC has a large variety of food and drink options throughout, with even more at the neighbouring train station and also Resorts World.

DO YOU HAVE ACCOMMODATION NEARBY?

From luxury hotels to simple rooms to please, you’ll find a huge variety right on the doorstep of the NEC Birmingham.

 

WHAT DO I DO IF I NEED FIRST AID?

There are always trained first aid staff available at each event and at the venue during opening hours. If you require medical attention, just ask the nearest member of staff for immediate assistance.

 

DO YOU HAVE BABY CHANGING FACILITIES?

There are baby changing facilities in selected toilets in NEC Birmingham, please ask a member of staff for the nearest one during your visit.

 

CAN I SMOKE AT THE VENUE?

NEC Birmingham is a smoke free venue; smoking is not allowed throughout any of the buildings.

It is possible to smoke outside of the venue; a dedicated smoking area is located outside at the front of the venue.

​

Electronic cigarettes are not permitted for use inside, due to the sophistication of these devices; it is increasingly difficult to identify guests smoking compared to those smoking electronic cigarettes. To assist with this, guests who wish to use these devices are requested to use the external smoking areas.
