WHAT TIME DOES THE EVENT OPEN?

Comic Con Midlands opens at the same time over the course of the weekend on both events this time is as follows:

Saturday Entry: 9.00am

Saturday Closing: 6.00pm

​

Sunday Entry: 9.00am

Sunday Closing: 6.00pm

 

DO YOU HAVE CAR PARKING? 

BIRMINGHAM: The NEC Birmingham has more than 16,500 well-maintained spaces. Their dedicated team looks after their car parks all year round, including surfacing, safety, lighting, signage and gritting.  There is venue signage to show you the correct car park to head to and shuttle buses to take you to the halls. You can either pay on the day or in advance by clicking HERE.

TELFORD: The Telford International Centre has over 1500 car parking spaces onsite, all within easy walking distance of the venue. Charges may vary.  There are multiple car parks within Telford Town Centre which are also chargeable. Sat nav postcode: TF3 4JH

DO YOU HAVE A CASH MACHINE?

BIRMINGHAM: There are various portable cash machines throughout the NEC Birmingham and across at Resorts World.

​

TELFORD: There is an ATM at the Telford International Centre, however this does charge so we strongly advise that you make sure you bring cash with you. There are also ATM's in various locations around the venue within the town centre.

​

We have card terminals at each guest's table as well as in the photo areas where you can purchase photo ops, autographs, selfies, and COA certificates.  

​

Finally, it is also worth noting that the vast majority of traders accept cards as well as cash, but always check with the trader before purchasing an item.

​

DO YOU HAVE WI-FI?

Both of our venues have WI-FI throughout.

DOES THE VENUE OFFER DISABLED ACCESS?

Both the NEC Birmingham and Telford International Centre is committed to ensuring all visitors, delegates and guests are

WHAT FOOD AND DRINK OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER?

BIRMINGHAM: The NEC has a large variety of food and drink options throughout, with even more at the neighbouring train station and also Resorts World.

TELFORD: There will be a number of food and drink vendors at the event.

​

DO YOU HAVE ACCOMMODATION NEARBY?

From luxury hotels to simple rooms to please, you’ll find a huge variety right on the doorstep of both of our venues.

 

WHAT DO I DO IF I NEED FIRST AID?

There are always trained first aid staff available at each event and at each venue during opening hours. If you require medical attention, just ask the nearest member of staff for immediate assistance.

 

DO YOU HAVE BABY CHANGING FACILITIES?

There are baby changing facilities in selected toilets at both venues, please ask a member of staff for the nearest one during your visit.

 

CAN I SMOKE AT THE VENUE?

Both NEC Birmingham and Telford International Centre are smoke free venues; smoking is not allowed throughout either building.

It is possible to smoke outside of the venue; a dedicated smoking area is located outside at the front of the venues.

​

Electronic cigarettes are not permitted for use inside, due to the sophistication of these devices; it is increasingly difficult to identify guests smoking compared to those smoking electronic cigarettes. To assist with this, guests who wish to use these devices are requested to use the external smoking areas.
